As a Registered Nurse, Lisa has seen first hand what the detrimental affects suffering from chronic pain can have on a person’s health and life. It can be debilitating to their quality of life, and therefore a full, happy life is often not achieved. Pain can interfere with self-esteem, confidence, happiness and induce anxiety and emotional distress. Not a pleasant experience for any human being.



Pain is a general term that describes uncomfortable sensations in the body. It stems from activation of the nervous system. Pain lets us know when something is wrong, then we can act on it. There are various types of pain ranging from acute pain which develops over a short period of time. It tends to occur as a result of an injury, illness or medical procedure. Chronic pain, is often more long term and can come and go, and can result from various health conditions. Some people experience chronic pain when there’s no evidence of underlying injury or illness, known as functional pain.

The ‘National Health Interview Survey’ found that in 2019, about 1 in 5 adults in the US suffered from chronic pain. Chronic pain can substantially limit daily activities and reduce quality of life.

Never settle for being ‘used to the pain’. It is important to bring back your quality of life. The treatment for pain often depends on the underlying cause. Lisa may liaise with your GP or Specialist regarding what treatment you have had, and currently prescribed, if any. She will work alongside conventional medicine. It is important to look at your external and internal environments, making sure everything possible has been done to achieve the optimum result for you. Lisa’s treatment will be natural and personalised. 

 During your sessions Lisa will use evidence based therapeutics that are a highly effective way of using the power of your mind and your energy system to change your perception of pain and your reaction to it. During your sessions the nervous system will be brought into relaxation, and the wonderful chemical Oxytocin is released in the brain that is known to help relieve pain and to have a calming effect on your body and mind. Learning certain techniques will help you to live your life more fully and increase your own quality of life.


The Internal Vision healing, meditation, clinical hypnosis and breath work will be used as a part of your treatment. This model of self-care will help you to maintain your own health, and the principle behind this is to maintain a deep connection to yourself and your purpose in life. It is all about focusing on the ‘self’. Self-love, feeling worthy, and your belief system, all have a huge impact on your health. This natural healthcare system is powerful and you will be surprised at what you can achieve.

Lisa will also offer an in-person/remote Reiki energy healing session to her clients.

Food is your body’s life-time medicine. It promotes and creates internal health, keeping you well, functioning properly and free from disease. Nutritional balance is essential for optimal health and this cannot be voiced enough in this current world. Without adequate and correct nutrients going into your body on a daily basis, your body and mind over time will begin to suffer and lack the essential nutrients to keep every cell in your body functioning optimally. And of course, what you feed yourself on a daily basis will have an affect on your pain threshold and recovery. 

Hydration. Water is an essential element to keeping you healthy. As our body is made up of over 60% water, it makes sense to drink good filtered water. Being hydrated is so important for many bodily functions, including the delivery of oxygen throughout the body. Staying hydrated will certainly help with the recovery process of any illness.

Lisa will help you to develop a better thinking system towards pain. Our thoughts, emotions and actions have a profound effect on how we conduct ourselves in our daily life and have a deep effect on our health. Every thought you think creates a chemical reaction in the body, neurologically and biologically, and this is why it is important to be clear on what thoughts and emotions to change that limit you and what new thoughts and emotions to install in their place for a better thinking system that will improve the quality of your health. How you think, how you act and how you feel represents your current life, and is the formation of your personality.
